Beef Program

Description/ background /fun facts

The Beef Program is for anyone interested in beef cattle. Youth who participate in the beef program will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in the following areas:

- Animal Care and Ownership

-Honesty and Sportsmanship

-Quality Assurance

- Human Health

-Ethics and Conduct


Important Details

The Lake Plains beefProgram is for youth from 5-19.  The majority of the programs are based on the 4-H club program and include but are not limited to

- Animal Care and OwnerShip

- Honestly and Sportsmanship

- Animal Health & Biosecurity

-Quality Assurance

-Human Health

- Ethics and Conduct

These projects are what motivate youth to learn teamwork, develop interpersonal skills, build enthusiasm and enjoy challenges.
